Lee began singing at an early age. At 8 years old he started Guitar lessons and began singing as a Soprano in All Saints Church Choir in Reading, reaching the dizzy heights of Head Chorister by the time he was 12.
Around the age of 13 as Lee's voice began to break, he began to look at other outlets for his talents. Several years of performing in School productions including a spell with a Theatre Workshop Group, as understudy to the main role in Oliver, eventually led Lee to his first Band, playing guitar in Punk Rock Group 'The Ex-People'. Quickly making a name for themselves in the local area, the band broke up after headlining an outdoor event held to celebrate the wedding of Lady Diana and Prince Charles.
Several stints in Bands followed and lots of performances in Clubs and Pubs playing Social Club classics.
After meeting Cliff Silvermoon whilst working at a School in Reading, 'Time Out' was formed, playing a mix of Rock and Pop in Social Clubs all over the South of England with Lee taking on the singers role for the first time. In 1992, after performing 'Always Take The Weather' once to often, Lee had an idea to start a Glamrock/70's Tribute band, Cliff agreed and along with Elvin, Andy and Charlie, 'The Look' was born.

During the 19 Years and 9 Months that 'The Look' played for, success followed success, they appeared on Television twice appearing on BBC1 and on Sky TV’s Friday night show 'Eat My Sports', giving a retro feel to a show which featured seventies footballing legend Charlie George, and Hollywood superstar Vinnie Jones. The Band also switched on Didcot's Christmas Lights and brought Readings Broad Street to a standstill when performing at the opening of the Chicago Rock Cafe, they also headlined the opening night of Rock and Roll Part One, a seventies weekend organised by the ‘Glamrock And The 70’s’ Internet Club. The Look also played at such prestigious venues as: The Last Drop Hotel, Bolton - The IECC, Edinburgh - Cannon Bridge Roof Gardens, London - Golden Sands Holiday Park, Dawlish - O'Neills Bar, Covent Garden - Chicago Rock Cafe, Reading - Broadmoor Hospital, Berkshire - Golds Gym, Hanwell - John Nike Leisure Complex, Bracknell -
The White Horse Holiday Centre, Selsea - The Golden Lion Hotel, Stirling - Rivermead, Reading and numerous Parties, Bars and Social Clubs all over the Country.
Although 'The Look' underwent many changes of personal, Lee stayed with his creation until the end when it became impossible for some of the musicians to maintain the high standards that Lee and previous members of the Band had set.
The break up of the band hit Lee hard and it took over a year before he could face picking up a microphone again, but now, he is once again enjoying performing, singing and being back in the limelight.
